Let’s Get Your Home Sold!

7792 Eagle Drive 11 300x200 Lets Get Your Home Sold!

7792 Eagle Drive, McCalla, AL  35111

(Please view this gorgeous home that is ready to sell)

Time Needed – 7 to 10 Days of Your Time
  1. First, Buyers get caught up in personal items so if you have loads of pictures put them away.  You want the Buyer to see themselves there not you and your family.
  2. Make the decision to let your house go.  It’s a mental thing and may make the process of working an offer harder.
  3. Get rid of the junk….no one like to walk into a house that has miscellaneous item laying everywhere.  Nice and neat is the way to go.
  4. Since you’re planning on moving anyway clean out closets making them look organized (cabinets & pantries too).  Everyone opens all of these to look.  So if your idea of cleaning up is throwing it in a drawer or closet….don’t!
  5. Make small repairs now.  Fix leaks, doors that make noise, paint walls if they are dirty, replace burned out light bulbs, clean light fixture globes that collect dust & bugs.  Just fix all those things that nag you when you walk by them because they will nag the buyers too.
  6. Do some Spring cleaning no matter the time of year.  Get rid of the cobwebs, wash windows, caulk around tubs, sinks, and showers.  If a room stinks find out why and get the smell gone – that will definitely turn a buyer off.  Dust ceiling fan blades and clean carpets.  Clean the outside also….especially around the front door.
  7. If your exterior is bad you won’t get the buyer on the inside. They will drive on by.  Fix your landscape.  Mow your grass, pressure wash sidewalk.  Paint anything that is cracking or peeling. Hide garbage carts.
  8. If you need an opinion ask for a real one.  Not your friend, family or your spouse.  Let your agent have permission to be honest. Sometimes it’s hard to hear but it will be well worth it if you truly want your house to sell.

Coaling Tornado 150x150 Rebuilt In Less Than A Year.....Magnolia SpringsAn EF3 tornado with winds of 155 mph quickly touched the lives of many Coaling, AL, residents in the early hours of April 27th. With no warning a 38 lot subdivision, Magnolia Springs, was hit hard.  The whole subdivision took damage with many families having to start completely over. The tornado left several injuries that day but took no lives in the small, friendly subdivision on the Middle Coaling Road.  In just short of one year all of the Magnolia Spring residents are back where they belong….in their homes. Almost all the families returned to the Coaling community they previously called home.  No one will ever forget that tragic day in April, and they will all say, “There is truly no place like Home…..”New Coaling 300x200 Rebuilt In Less Than A Year.....Magnolia Springs Melanie Fosters Headshot 150x150 Rebuilt In Less Than A Year.....Magnolia SpringsMelanie Foster, REALTOR®.  Melanie can be reached at (205) 886-1237 or melaniefoster111@aol.com.
